❄︎Making Astraea Cold Process #Soap Using Silicone Mat #Snowflakes | #ASMR❄︎

*Timestamps are below!*

I haven’t touched or seen actual snow since the Snowpocalypse of Atlanta in 2014. Even then, it was barely an inch. Since it is still 95° and it is October, I felt a bit nostalgic and decided to make a few snow-themed soaps.

In ancient Greek mythology, Astraea is the virgin Goddess of justice, purity, and precision. She is the inspiration for this color choice and scent blend. Astraea has notes of Melon, Violet Leaves, Lavender, Mandarin Orange, Blackberry, Lily-of-the-Valley, Jasmine, and Nectarine, along with Oak, Musk, and Honey. I chose this fragrance blend because it does not have any vanilla in it, which is essential if you want to make a white soap such as this one.

This is an ASMR video, so expect a lot of soothing sounds, peeling/cracking noises, stick-blending, etc. I hope you enjoy the video, and I would love to hear what you think of it in the comments.

A note about my ingredients:

All of the micas used are ethically sourced or synthetically produced. The essential oils are 100% natural, and the fragrances are phthalate-free and skin-safe. The glitters are biodegradable and derived from sustainable sources. The recipe is vegetable-based unless I use animal milk, which will always be listed in the title.
