My water filter review-

These three essential oil diffuser blends for fall, pumpkin spice, ginger snap and coy fire will fill your home with the scents of the season. They also have the added benefit of making your home a happier and healthier place.

We love using essential oils in our home. From a scraped knee, to a bee sting, a cough and everything in between, essential oils are our go-to remedy. They have powerful medicinal properties in them that make them effective for almost any minor emergency that comes our way.

We love the doctor for big things, like when my daughter broke her arm last weekend, but for the most part we stay far far away.

99% percent of the time a little essential oil goes a long way to deal with all the little things that come your way, especially with five kids running around!

Using essential oils aromatically
Topically, essential oils are great to use when someone scrapes their knee at the park, or complains of a tummy ache. But for everyday use, we prefer to use essential oils aromatically in our home. Not only do they smell great, without throwing all kinds of toxic chemicals into the air, but they also actually have a ton of added health benefits.

Diffusing essential oils causes their tiny molecules to be dispersed into the air and then they make their way into the body through inhalation.

Breathing in essential oils is one of the best, and fastest, ways to reap their amazing healthy benefits.

Essential oils improve brain function and mood when diffused aromatically. When breathed in, essential oils go straight to the limbic system, which is responsible for controlling mood and emotion. Certain oils are great for helping to create feelings of calmness. They can also reduce anxiety, promote healthy sleep and increase the ability to concentrate.
Essential oils purify the air. They are powerful enough to destroy harmful chemicals.
Essential oils improve the immune system. Certain oils, like cinnamon, clove, frankincense, orange and lemon are powerful immunity boosters.  This is especially helpful as we go into the flu season!
They make your home smell amazing. Just like a holiday stovetop simmer, with cinnamon sticks, fresh herbs and orange peels, diffusing essential oils gives your home a fresh scent, naturally. Plus, its a whole lot easier to throw a few drops of oil into a diffuser and let it run all day, than cutting up all the fresh ingredients. The scent is more potent and powerful too!
No more toxic glad plug-ins or febreeze. I’m sure you all weren’t using those anyways, but just so you know you can have your scent without compromising your health!

Essential Oil Diffuser Blends for Fall
Pumpkin Spice
This diffuser blend will fill your home with the spicy scent of fall baking. Cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and clove come together in an oily version of the season’s popular pumpkin spice combination.

2 drops cardamom

2 drops cinnamon

2 drops ginger

1 drop clove

Add the oils to a diffuser, fill with purified water and run for several hours. Since this blend has powerful immune boosting oils, like cinnamon and clove, this is an especially helpful diffuser blend during the fall and winter, when it seems like everyone is sick all the time.

Ginger snap
5 drops ginger

2 drops clove

2 drops cassia

Add the oils to a diffuser, fill with purified water and run for several hours. Since this blend has powerful immune boosting oils, like cinnamon and clove, this is an especially helpful diffuser blend during the fall and winter, when it seems like everyone is sick all the time.

Ginger is a lovely scent all on its own, but paired with clove and cassia it reminds me of a delicious ginger snap cookie. Ginger is excellent for digestive issues, so this is a great blend if someone is complaining of a tummy ache. (Maybe too many s’mores at a fall party?!)

If you don’t have cassia essential oil, just use cinnamon. They f…
