Troubleshooting Your Young Living Diffuser

If you’re having trouble with your Young Living Diffuser, there are a few things that you can try before calling member services. Here’s how to troubleshoot your Young Living diffuser:

First, check the power. Is the plug tight into the diffuser body? Is the cord plugged into the wall? If the lights turn on when you hit the power button, you’ve got power!

Let’s move to the next step.

Can you hear the fan?

If the fan isn’t running, there’s potentially something obstructing the air vent. Did water get into the mechanics? Is the valve closed (see Rainstone diffuser)? If the fan is running, though, you’re good to go here!

It’s easy to see if the Ultrasonic Plate is working or not. Put water into the diffuser. If you see bubbles, you’ve got a solid Ultrasonic Plate doing its thing. If not, the plate may need to be replaced.

If one or more of these do not work for your diffuser, call Member Services, and they will be happy to help you.

Finally! Diffusers don’t often leak. It’s important to make sure that everything is aligned properly. Make sure lids are flush and seals are tight. If everything is aligned, water should stay where it is supposed to stay.
