Deep Breathing exercises help reduce blood pressure, improve digestion, and calm the fight or flight response. Breath work helps destress life and can be a great sleeping help. It can also help relieve stress. Dr Weil taugh me this deep breathing exercises for anxiety. If you cant sleep just do this deep breathing, and it will be a great benefit to help fall asleep. This is also a great tool when you are learning how to meditate. Meditation helps increase brain function. This 4-7-8 breathing technique helps when experiencing panic attacks and anxiety attacks.
